Model 12 F-Class 6 BR. I have installed a Bench Source 0 MOA Picatiny scope mount, Kelby wide standard height rings holding a Nightforce Benchrest 12-42x-56 scope. I zeroed it at 100 yards. The scope elevation shows 36 MOA. Today I wanted to shoot a 600 yard match, but of course I could not add enough elevation to get out to 600 yards.
My question is; isn't 36 minutes a lot of elevation for a 100 yard zero? I know I can 'fix' it with a 20 MOA scope base. But something just doesn't seem right.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
