I wonder if you are going to have to reuse the whole trigger guard assembly.

I am sure Boyds will figure it out, even if I have to reuse the trigger guard, I took the stock of and you should see the banana curve on that baby, the barrel channel looks like a Hockey stick, so as far as I am concerned anything will be better.

A Savage "B mag" is a new rifle offered by savage for a new Winchester rimfire called the .17 WSM.

So the whole bottom plate will be eliminated, and the mag will be flush with wood, at the bottom of the stock, and a 10/110 trigger style will be used?

Does anyone know if they are "finished"? Or are we expected to sand seal varnish etc?
I was thinking of the Prairie Hunter in Walnut as a traditional look but have been told by doctors to avoid dust and breathing paint fumes if I want to be around for a few more years.

I ordered a classic in nutmeg on Thursday afternoon, I wanted to get the order in as soon as I could. I bet there will be a lot of b-mag owners wanting a new stock!

Im very curious to see how aftermarket stocks will affect accuracy for those having problems.

I'll probably buy one either way but there is a lot more incentive if it clears up some of the issues.
