Savage 223 barrels - different throat length?

Also, everyone just knows the .223 is smaller than the 5.56, well the 5.56 Target chamber is smaller in about every dimension than the .223 Wylde."

The OP asked a question, and as always no specific throat dimensions are given for a Savage rifle. Instead of blowing a gasket or telling the poster his question is irrelevant why doesn’t someone here at this Savage website get the reamer dimensions and give the actual answer.

I own a Savage .223 and a AR15 National Match rifle and would also like a definitive answer to this question just like most of the Savage .223 owners would like to know. This is not meant to be insulting, but if you can't get an answer here about a Savage rifle but get plenty of information elsewhere on chamber reamers for the .223 and 5.56 something is wrong.
