Did it to my Axis .223, works like a charm. Although I do recall grinding it down just enough to get the throw I wanted.
Has anyone ever herd of a bolt baffle for using LA's with SA rounds so you don't have to work the bolt ALL the way back to get it to "cock"
I gave a 6BR & 223 barrels that I use on my LA 110, and it is a PITA.

The extended front bolt baffle requires a magazine that is blocked.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
If it is not cocking with just the bolt lift, that means the sear is hanging up. When you pull the bolt back against the stop, it resets the sear......and it shouldn't have to. The sear should re-set when the bolt is opened.
"As long as there's lead in the air....there's still hope.."
Old eagle eye spotted the gem again. Take the barreled action out of the stock and cycle the bolt up and down. You don't need to pull the bolt back and then close it, just up and down. Watch the sear to see if the trigger re-sets the sear. If it does not there is a problem.
Is this a top or bottom release action?
