Ok finally have time off, and no not due to Covid-19 event, to bed rifle. Will document what I do but cannot test results until after pandemic is over as all rifle ranges closed in North Carolina. I purchased a Nikon FX-1000 6-24x50 scope for a really good price. Reason for nice price is Nikon as of January is no longer making rifle scopes. EuroOptic has some nice sales going to empty their stock if anyone interested. Nikon suppose to honor their warranty according to their web site.
I hope the scope tracks correctly.

It's a shame about Nikon. For mid class scopes, where they were
positioned, the field is over crowded. Some higher level scopes
have seen lower street pricing as a result.....As for mounts ??
DNZ has been providing me with solid one piece mounts for Savage.
I use 30mm and 34mm,with the machined in, 20 MOA tilt.

Ok. I checked with Nikon and they stated as long as scope registered would honor warranty. We shall see. Ok bedding done. See attached.

I ended up adding pillars as when I took apart rifle I saw the laminate had compressed at back of magazine at the narrow part where front of trigger guard goes over it. Nice tight fit. I oiling stock now and will put everything together tomorrow. Then I just have to wait till I can test it.
I did assemble and test action with a dummy round and had no issues feeding from magazine.
GRS laminate stocks do not come pillar bedded only the plastic ones do.
Not yet. Covid-19 has crimped my testing.
If you don’t have a blank on order, remember they can take a while. Brux was only 3 months when I called in March...
On a 4 groove 7.5 twister for another Creed build, Brux quoted me 3 month's
and barrel was at my door in half the time. Another thing I do is check the
stock at "Bugholes". They do have a great inventory of the top blanks and to
your door in under a week. Just got in a Bartlein that I figured I'd have to
wait 5 months for !! Life is good.....
