That is indeed unique and you are the only one that has a rifle that looks like that....What is the name of your gunsmith?
Just got my MarkII-GL back from my gunsmith today. He had a Kreiger 22lr blank sitting around so I had him install it on my rifle. I told him I wanted flutes, but we decided not to do everyday flutes and ended up doing something a little different. Let me know what you think. Like I said it was a Krieger blank, polished 22match chamber, 11degree target crown. It seems to feed perfectly out of the magazine. I will post an update when I get a chance to take it to the range.... I am itching for it. Now I need to get a Boyd's stock and put a better scope on it. Any ideas for ammo to try? The stock barrel really liked the Federal Automatch.

no problem, i should get to the range Saturday, will post results
that's a very good looking barrel, the dimples really make it look unique.

Thanks! I made it out to the range yesterday. I will post picture tomorrow. The rifle shot nicely, but showed me I need a different trigger. I've gotten so used to lightweight triggers shooting a lot of f-class, i wasn't used to the 3-1/2# or so trigger on this rifle and it showed. But when I did right, the rifle shot nicely.
Here's a few of my targets from Saturday at 25yds. The rifle is obviously shooting better than I can right now. Anyone have any suggestions on how to lighten this accutrigger to about 1lb?

I'm hoping to get to the range this weekend and do some trigger adjusting and try a number of other types of ammo. Will post more pictures if I make it.
