HI,
This is my first post here.
After deciding not to rebuild my 1984 10/22, and after reading tons of praise, yesterday I bought a new MarkII BTV.
I know barrel break in is a huge can of worms with everyone having opinions but, I usually dont do it. Just clean first and then shoot with a new gun.
After a very good cleaning, I went to the range this morning. I started out at 25 yds, first using Wildcats, did 5 cycles of fired 5 and then cleaned. I switched to CCI S.V. and zeroed. Couldnt believe after reading a lot of folks posting it would take a brick or two to settle down, I shot several single hole 5 shot groups at 25. Moved out to 50yds and shot several groups that are smaller than a dime. I didn't measure them yet but...I'm pretty happy with that!

I do have a question. When adjusting the trigger, and turning the screw counter clockwise...does the big spring supposed to rotate all over the plave like it is not secured, or is it supposed to turn uniformly? I'm not real happy with the trigger at the lowest setting, my 10/22 is at 3 lbs and this feels heavier to me...very crisp, but heavy.

If Photobucket will cooperate, I will post a couple pics.

Thanks,
