It's actually 5.062", but all of the long actions are that spacing, stagger or center feed.
I just bought a stevens 200 l/a staggerfeed action and am looking at buying a savage 110 stock. My question is will the action fit this stock? The screw spacing is 5" CTC. Does anyone know what the action screw spacing is on this particular action by chance?

The mag well location is different between the SF and the CF. If I remember correctly the SF is about 3/16 or so more forward or longer to the front.
That is correct, I just modified a CF factory Stevens stock to fit a staggerd feed.
Ok, I have picked up a Stevens 200, with the blind magazine. If I take it to a savage standard 110 stock, what else do I have to do to make it a 'changeable magazine' weapon?
What is the difference between a 110 and 110c?
What about using a Choate stock? Same question on the magazine issue.
I do intend to change the barrel out, just want to do the magazine issue first as hunting season is right around the corner.
By the way, it's chambered in 300 winmag, with Bushnell optics.
