...that Savage used to mount the muzzle brake on their now discontinued FCP-K model in .308, please? Assuming they used just one standard size, that is. (Mine is the lefty FLCP-K but I'm guessing they used the same on both the right and the lefty models.)

Yup its 5/8-24, but just to be 100% sure I would measure the OD of the threads, and you can pick up a 10-24 bolt at your local hardware store and fit it against the threads. If they match up then you have 5/8-24, but I am 99.9% that it is.
