    I've been sold on .243 recently too. I actually just plonked down for some Lapua brass, I've been so impressed with the chambering. Now, if I could only find some more Berger 115gr bullets! The Trophy Hunter might not have a fast enough twist to stabilize the heaviest 6mm pills out there, but most commercial hunting loads are 100gr or less, meaning you're good to go with off-the-shelf fodder.

    As for how the Nikon BDC corresponds to a specific load, Nikon's website has a calculator to give you an estimate for a number of factory loads, but the only way to know for sure is to calculate the drops yourself.
