I gotta ask why the preference for rearward-folding bipod legs.
Third rifle I've seen like that this week, here and one or two on rimfire central.
My new Savage MK II FV-SR build. When I started looking around for a new toy I was really drawn to the MK II FV-SR for several reasons:
-Synthetic stock so I feel good about throwing it around in the hunt vehicle and in the rain.
-AccuTrigger
-Detachable mag
-Short factory threaded barrel suppressor ready.
Put an Aimpoint H1 on it for now. As this is intended to be a "varmint" gun rather than a match rifle most shots will be around 50 yards and the H1 can hold a 1" group at that range. Was in the process of sighting it in when a big rainstorm rolled in and I had to cut the session short but I got it shooting 1" groups at 50 yards with Remington subsonic.
I have some new CCI subsonic ammo coming in to play with.
The short barrel requirement was because I will be mounting a SWR Spectre 2 suppressor on it so I wanted to keep overall length manageable.
I'll post more results when I get it dialed in and then when I receive the suppressor.
