Mate, Boyds have the Tacticool.... It will probably fit your needs.
Hi folks,
new to the forum and new to the savage 93r17. Love the rifle and the round just not a fan of the stock. Would love to find a "tactical" type stock for my rifle. All my internet searching has come up with nothing conclusive. Any help? Thanks.

Well went to Boyds and now am slightly confused. After typing in make, model etc found what appeared to be the stock i wanted for my model savage. Further reading tells me this stock is for the "This stock is designed for the Sav93-E/MKII heavy barrel with inlet trigger guard and floor plate. Action measures 7 3/4" long on the 93E/MKII action."
Is this the correct nomenclature for my savage 93r17 17 HMR? Cheers!
This is a tacticool I just recently painted. There great stocks, Just pillar and glass bed them when you get it, You will be glad you did.
If you just got your gun it is the new receiver. And all the tacticool stocks are inleted for heavy barrels.
Don't forget to order trigger guard and floor plate like I did. That looks really good LureMin! My stock is the thumbhole in tan, just spent 1.5hrs on youtube getting camo ideas.
Thanks, I combined all of the stuff you probably looked at in one lol..
I also like the bolt handle,What did you do there?
I made that on my lathe, just cut the old one off threaded the knob and screwed this one on. easy peasey.
I have no shop,lookin at 93R17TR bolt.
what make and model is the stock? When looking for 93r stocks, MK II always comes up and not the actual model 93r. are they the same? great looking rifle.
It's a Boyds Tacticool for the model 93r17
