How long was your wait?
This rifle has never ejected a case properly in its 8 year life, I have tried replacing the same with new Savage parts a few times over the years and no improvement. I just installed the SSS enhanced ejector and extractor kit on my 223 10 FP, man it throws cases out of the chamber with authority. Just a notice to all, if you have weak or non existent extraction and ejection go ahead and get this kit first. Unbelievable fix.
How long was your wait?
A week, just emailed them, asking them how to order it, they responded in a day telling me to fill out the forum with what I want and cc info and send it in, a week later it was here. Tried calling but no answer.
I don't even know the price but think I remember 15 for three sets, I could be wrong . Let me try to find the info.
I don't see anything listed on their web site,They sure don't make it easy to buy from them.
Gary, I don't think they are the typical internet parts house. Rather the opposite.
True Gary, I sympathize with them on some level, remember before cell phones and calculators when we actually had to know how to read and write handwriting of both types. But I have to say, the stuff I have bought from them works and is usually understated in performance.
Just installed the 308, man the brass comes out about half the power of my M1A, SSS has a winner with this kit.
Don't see anything on their web site either. How do you get the parts if you don't know what to order?
you talk to them or email them..
I mailed them this form on the left side of their site, just ordered "3 extractor ejector kits". they sent quickly.
Does this kit come with instructions on how to do it?

http://www.savageshooters.com/showth...-and-extractorLOL. The SSS ladies name is Lisa. Tell her what you want in the order form. She speaks gunsmith language and will know exactly what you want. BTW there is a sentence that says SSS has the extracter/ejecter update. It's just a bit hard to notice.
The whole update extracter/ejecter update kit is $5

sounds bad but be patient with them. From what I have heard and what Lisa said they have been dealing with illness a lot lately. I emailed her wanting to order a follower and she called me the next day and was very polite and helpful
I always receive email response from them within a day, even on weekends.
I've emailed multiple times with no response ever. Maybe some folks are lucky?
im really wanting to try these kits!
Lisa just recently got back in the office. She was out for a long stretch due to some health problems. Once she came back she replied to me immediately and we even went back and forth over 20 times throughout the day to answer all the questions I had. Great business there that really cares about their customers satisfaction. Resulted in an order but I had to provide my number for her to call me. Even got someone from the shop to answer final questions prior to pulling the trigger. Just be patient as they catch up with everyone.

I did get a reply from Lisa and I provided my phone number. Hopefully I'll get a call soon. I hear so many great things about these people and I hate to hear about her being ill. I guess that hits close to home as my family has had some issues recently as well. I hope she feels 100% soon!
You wont regret it LW. I have a fluted bolt coming from them, the fishnet fluting in black, they told me up front none are available til some time this month, I am okay with that.
