Seems like I remember a custom thumb knob for the 110 style side Bolt Release. I would like some Ideas from anyone willing to post pictures. Thanks.

Here's the link to the thread for which you were (unsuccessfully) searching : http://www.savageshooters.com/showthread.php?10160-bolt-release-modifications
Since it was posted before the change in software, the photo links don't work, so, below is a quote with the photo links cleaned up.
I hope this was helpful
edit: thomae treed me on the response.

i think this is the thread but the image links no longer work. i had asked if there was a way to change the images links when the new site saw an occurrence of [img width=600 height=450]*[/img] to the format that works with new script but the question was dodged for some reason.
if you want to see the images so manually select just the link from the brackets; it works i just tested it. here is one from that thread with the plier jaw spot welded to bolt release; http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/...1/IMG_2221.jpg
i will be doing a hidden bolt release that will be located under the rear trigger screw. i will make it so a normal key can be used to release the bolt for cleaning and such. when the gun is cocked it will have a little nipple my middle finder can feel to confirm or deny if the gun is cocked; this nipple will only be able to be felt when the gun is cocked. i will be filling in the shaved part of my action with jb weld where the old release sat and trying to make it the same contour of the rest of the action. i will duracoat it all when done.
Here is a post where Fred shows of his mad bolt release lever skills.

I wonder if any one could flip the bolt release to the other side.
Aw, shucks. You can come down from that tree. We're all friends here.
Not to hijack the post, but if you take out the sizing information in your HTML image code, the images will display correctly:
instead of
[img width=600 height=450]*[/img] (Where * is the URL of the photo)
use this simpler code:
[img]*[/img]
Does that make sense? I hope so.
All the best.
