your using the 243 mag? guessing it's not mag depth but the wide lips that is not allowing it to retain 2 rounds.
Switched the Striker bolt head and barrel (16" factory .223). Action will allow one cartridge to be loaded and a second round to be cycled correctly from the mag. But only one making it a two shot pistol instead of a three shot as it was as a .243.
Is there a way and availability to switch the mag size for .223? I don't know what series this one is and some have the trigger linkage fastened to the mag well. I don't think that is the way mine is mounted.
As an aside, of the two I owned, kept this one due to the superior trigger, yep...a very crisp smooth medium- light pull. That was not true of the one I traded off and it was not the same series. This one hasn't been altered in any way far as I can see.
