12FV or a hog hunter would be the cheapest choice.
I also agree that the BVSS or VLP are great rifles.

I have a 12 FV .223 (made by Savage for Cabela's) with a 26-inch barrel and a hidden magazine.
It is a great rifle and shot great right out of the box.
I have almost 3,100 rounds down the tube and it is shooting better than ever.
The 12 FV is regularly on sale (mine was $319.99 but several buddies got their rifles on sale with a rebate and paid $269.99).
But even at list price it is a good buy if you are anxious to get one and don't want to wait.
All of the 12 FVs that I have seen shoot are very accurate and, from the comments on this forum, many have had the same opinion.
They are perfect for bench shooting off a solid front rest and rear bag.
It is a 1:9 twist but I shoot 77 grain Sierra SMKs and TMKs with it and it shoots them as good as any of the bullets that are supposed to stabillize in a 1:9 twist. The 77s are supposed to be marginally stable but you couldn't prove it by my results.
