I have a new 10 FCP-K in 308. I’ve shot around 350 round through the gun. I’m trying to find a load that works best in the gun. Unfortunately, my group sizes for the same load varies. In addition, my group sizes appear to be opening each session. Currently, my group size at 100 yards has opened up to an average of .88. This past weekend, my groups averaged around 7.5 inches at 600 yard in a bench rest competition.

I’m trying to figure out why my gun isn’t shooting as well as I think it should.

Has anyone else noticed that their 10 FCP-K in 308 shoots bigger groups after the barrel gets hot? How many shots before your barrel heats up enough to affect our accuracy?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Eric
