Those interested in ARC Scope Mounting Solutions: Check this first!!

I knew I had seen these ARC mounting solutions before. Just wasn't sure where. Finally came across it again.

Now look, I know you guys who dropped all the money on these things are gonna have a hissy fit, but before you speak, read all the specs. This $45 mount is made of 7075 T6, just like the ARC. I just havnt trusted these things since I've seen them. The multiple hinges, creating ring gaps, only 1 screw attachment point? But this just really solidifies it for me. I think the American Rifle Company has som splainin' to do. If I had spent $300, or even the $180 on rings, and saw this, I WOULD BE LIVID! And I understand the Chinese "knock off" game, but scope mounts are not among the endangered. When is the last time you saw a set of knock off Badger Ord., Leupold MK4 or Seekins rings? Where's the knock off Spuhr, or American Defense mount? And, this this is IDENTICAL to the ARC.

I'm not looking to debate anything. Just giving a heads up to the uninformed.

Cheap knock offs that require a plastic insert to make up for poor machining with an absurdly high ridiculous see through mount for no particular reason.

Sorry these are the uni mounts. I've seen these before. I can tell by the picture they won't do what the ARC Rings do. THey are not even close to the same quality. Why don'tyou contact Ted Karagias for yourself and ask him why these are not the same lol. I find this post extremely humorous in all honesty.

These are 30mm diameter. The inserts are so Thay can also be used with 1" scopes. What do you mean "obsurdly high see through"? Should you like me to post a picture of the ARC QD-L mount? Save me the trouble, and look at it. It's exactly the same! Not just the height. These things are identical. Like I said. I think they have some explaining to do.

I can smell your blood pressures going up. It's so exciting. I learn REALLY FAST! Huh?

Dave, I guess the proof would be in the shooting. :) All I know is I have a set of the ARC rings and they do work very well.

Oh I'm sure they do my friend. And honestly, my sons AR has a $20 primary arms mount, with a 1-4x24 bushnell. And it shoots great. I really have nothing against this that or the other. Just don't like expressing an opinion and being told I'm wrong, or don't know about things. My research is without contestation!

You Slowtrigger, seem like a very respectful person, and I have no doubt that it works very well for you. Take care

Look Dave. I get what you're saying. They "look alike". But you haven't played with either. Some of the reviews stated the knock off uses plastic or nylon bolts. As well as cut many other corners. It's the only way they can get the cost down that far. If you go to "blobgears" website. All they deal with is Chinese knock off product. If that's what works for you then go ahead and run it. I'll stick to the American made quality that ARC stands behind.

I also know if anything designed by Ted happens to fail he'll not only fully replace it, but he'll take your part, study it, and redesign to make it even better. He's one of the very few that listens to his customers and continues to make refinements to his products all the time.

You can stand behind whatever you believe to be true. I'd just prefer if you did after actually handling and using a product rather than bashing it and saying the Chinese version is the same thing when you really don't know.

It's not fair to the people reading your comments or the company your bashing without any true research, but maybe you have stock in blobgear or something for all I know......

    Have a great night!

I wish, but no such luck. In any case, think I made my point.

This right here tells me all I need to know. Friend, this is not your type of forum. Lets see how fast of a learner you are.

This reminds me of the Chinese Atlas Bipod and Leupold Scopes nockoffs. It looks the same so it functions the same, right?
