It is a very slow powder, I have used it on 7 Mag. It works well.
It works well in my 338 RUM and 338 Edge.

I use it exclusively in my 6CM and sometimes in my 260 and 300RUM

My best load with Sierra's 95g Match bullet in a 243 is with H1000. In my 7mm Mag it works just fine but not as well as Retumbo.

Works great for a medium load and is right on a OBT node.

I use it in a 6.5x284 currently and have used it in, 300wby, 30/378, 338/378. 338L, 7mmwby................................
I used to shoot quite a bit of H1000 in my 300 Wby. and a 7mm Ultra........then I discovered Retumbo.
Any clod can have the facts; having opinions is an art.
I had a great H-1000 load for 100-grainers in a 243 I used to have.

Sounds like this is some well rounded powder, I'm picking up two pounds of it today!
I thought it was only one pound by the price, but it turns out to be 2 - 1lbs jugs!!!
