Should be allen screws in those slots. I doubt that any pre fit pad will work if you use a spacer. What I do is epoxy the correct thickness spacer to a "grind to fix" pad and then start grinding. They come out looking fine.

I just bought a very slightly used 114 Euro Classic 30-06 (built in 2006) so it has accu trigger, but not any of the other changes (slotted nut, side bolt release, etc). Anyway I need to add a thicker recoil pad and maybe a spacer to get the LOP right for me, so does anyone know if any of the pre fit pads (Pachmayr, etc.) will fit the Euro Classic with the Monte Carlo stock) Also how do you remove the stock recoil pad, it appears to have two small recessed holes at about the right spacing for screws, but I don't know what is inside (allen screws, torx, plain old phillips etc?)
thanks Ike

I don't know about the 114 but every pad I have removed was held on by philips head screws.
Thats for models 10,11,12,110&112 plus the after markets.

Charlie,
What do you use to grind the recoil pads? Please explain because I need to install one.
Thanks and Regards,
Keith
