I bed right over the bracket (waxed prior to bedding with Q-Tip) and clear epoxy from it later with a sharp chisel. Two cuts each side and a tap on the edge of the braket, the piece of epoxy pops right off.
Do you remove the L shape bracket when you bed the rear action part of a stevens 200? When all bedded do you go back and cut out the the bedding material so the L shape bracket fits. How are some of you bedding these stevens 200's?

I removed the mag assembly. After the bedding hardened, I used a dremel to remove the bedding in the "L" braket slot and around the magazine well so the magazine box can be reinserted. Seemed to work easy enough.
Came out great, use the pointers you guys provided. Thanks for the info.
