What caliber is your rifle. That might help.
A picture of the set up and or the screw hole spacing on the farthest two scope base holes dimension wise would also help.
I have a Savage 110 (SN E974053) and am have difficulty finding the correct finding the correct scope base for it. My scope has a dovetail type attachment and I am not sure if the picatinny type bases will accommodate this type of attachment.
On this rifle, the rear part of the receiver is flat, not rounded. I bought a base that was supposed to fit but the screw holes did not line up. I am told that it is a "long action" but I can find no mention of that in the original owners manual, which I have.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks.

Thanks for trying to help. I just couldn't figure out how to upload pictures. Another member sent a suggestion that I am going to try. Again, thank you.
