.223 on a Long Action

I am doing the same conversion, a .308 110S to .223. Can you elaborate on the magazine modification? I think I am ok with changing the bolt face, barrel, etc. What other issues may I encounter?

Your biggest obstacle will be finding a long action .223 bolt head, they were discontinued in 2005.
