You could try spot heating the screws if you have a fine enough torch tip.
The WECSOG genius I purchased my long action Edge from used red Loctite on the crappy aluminum scope mount screws. What are my options before I commit to re-drilling and tapping for larger screws on the receiver$? I'm nervous abut heating the receiver never having done it before. Is there a chemical that would dissolve the red Loctite without eating the receiver also?
Gorilla force is not really an option with tiny little Allen head screws either. What to do?

Good idea DrTunder88, burn it out. I wonder if my old soldering iron would get hot enough to beat this crap?

we use loctite products frequently in automotive apps,,,, the red can be tough to get loose,,,you might check with loctite to see if there is a viable solvent and what critcal temp it melts at,,,,,,, that said ,,,, i like the soldering gun idea,,,, give it plenty of time,,, second idea, insert an allen wrench , use a torch to apply the heat to the wrench thus transfering the heat to the screw , i would use a second cold wrench to unscrew the screw with,,, good luck
You can try the iron but a propane torch with a fine tip will work better. No, you won't hurt anything. Pull the BA out of the stock, heat the screw heads while putting some pressure on the allen wrench. When it lets loose keep going. Don't forget to run a tap through the holes to clean out the LT.

Each morning eat a live green toad, it will be the worst thing you'll have face all day.
Soldering iron worked much to my surprise considering the lower temp of electric iron vs that of a torch. A bit of thread clean up and it will be totes. Thanks for the help folks.
cheers
I have been referring to my Edge/Axis as a long action but I have read elsewhere there is only one action length. Is it true there is only one action length for Axis rifles?
They did it to cut costs. No need to make two actions if one will work.
The magazines and magazine wells distinguish the "longs" from the "shorts" among Axises.
Good to know a soldering iron works!
Glad you get it done with a soldering iron....
just an FYI I use a hair dryer to remove screws with Loctite on them.
Welcome to my home.....FYI..... That locked door you kicked down was for your protection.... not mine!!
