    In addition to a bunch of different 223s I also have an regular Axis I rechambered into 223 AI. I love that rifle. Had I known that Savage was coming out with the HB Axis, I would have purchased that for the basis for my build. I have already purchased and rechambered 2 HB Axis rifles into 22-250 AI and 243 AI.
    These rifles are so easy to work with and cheap, it's amazing. One you sort out the god-awful factory triggers, that is. ha ha

    Ok so it ain't a .222 magnum.I'm at odds with the axis.If someone built an honest to god aftermarket benchrest stock for an axis, I'll be on the bandwagon.
