Yes use a tool like a "fat wrench". I stiffened up my Hog Hunter stock by putting a Hogue with an aluminum bedding block in it's place.

Also, when you fellows change stocks do you "retorq" the screws with an inch-pound wrench to get it correct?
I'm afraid to take my stock off because I'm afraid I won't find the same setting as before and it shoots very accurately now.
