When I posted on page 4 of this thread with my new Hog Hunter, a muzzle brake and a scope were all that I was going to do. An aftermarket stock was not even on my wish list. Oddly enough, a Bell & Carlson Medalist/Varmint stock was the first thing I did, then I put a scope on. Still no muzzle brake and I have about 160 rounds thru it and I just love shooting this gun. The stock makes a big difference. The gun started out stock at 7 ½ pounds, it now weighs 12 pounds. Takes up a tad bit of the recoil.
