No. Once the nut is snugged the bolt close the same as if it were closing on an empty chamber. A Go is used to set or check a chamber is equal to or greater than its length, a No Go, less that it's length.

Using the 308 Win family for example, the Go measures 1.630", the No Go, 1.634" which means a chamber length would be equal to or greater than 1.630" but something less than 1.634", 1.633 or less.
