EAW, I think thats a great job. Thanks for the tutorial. I've wanted to do this for a long time but never had the nerve to do it. I have 3 stocks with adjustable cheek pieces but I haven't attempted it yet. Again GREAT JOB!!!

Thanks for the praise Jim. If you've got the tools and my tutorial helps you work up the nerve... I'd sit down with my tutorial, and a note pad or a computer and just plan it out step by step and write it down prior to starting. Now that I've done it once and with memilanuk's idea to use sacrifical wood on either side of the stock prior to drilling the clamp bolt hole I feel I could do even a better job in a shorter amount of time.
