Been awhile since I checked the thread and am glad to see replies and those that have posted. Responses:
-Idaho:for those not buying, they're missing out!
-teebird:good observation, however, they aren't really a "specialty" item, as in super special grade, LEO, etc. They're available to all of us in the 2011 catalog and without a Cooper-like price tag. Cooper used for price comparison purposes only!
-csam:I'd suggest updating your Christmas list!
-Steve:buy it! You know you want to!
-digger:nice report! Folks don't know what they're missing.
It's hard to go wrong with buying a Savage in any caliber that fits your particular shooting needs! For years I always wanted to try a 6.5x284 and after reading another article in Shooting Times, I had to get one. Although not as known as the LRH, LRP, 12 F/TR, etc., the 110 Predator Hunter is just as accurate right out of the box. It has plenty of mag room to load to long VLD oal's. It's a bit heavy at 10lbs loaded, scoped, and bipodded but way better than an F class! Do some more pushups!
