The only way I know is rather costly due to time involved but it does work.

I just got in a short action that had been modified by someone for the same reason - just different caliber:

A mag box was modified to accomodate the longer rounds - basically cut and rewelded.

A modified follower and spring had been made.

Receiver bottom opened up and slot that holds the box moved accordingly to reattach the larger mag box.

Feed ramp seemed OK but a little work would have made it smoother.

They had also ground the baffle shorter to allow the bolt to come back farther -quite crude but worked.
