Good shooting and nice work on the camo job! The camo finish wears better if you apply a few coats of Krylon matt clear.
Well, after seeing all the great looking guns on here, I couldn't resist doing a little work on my own. Here's where I started, a 110fp in .308, nothing too special.
Decided to do a camo job on her, I used Krylon spray paint and some netting that I cut out of a shooting vest. I also got a stencil for the skull and crossbones on the stock, I'm really liking it!
This is my first experience painting anything involving guns, and I was a bit nervous. But I think it turned out great!
Oh, and here's my best group of the day, followed by my last group after adjusting my scope. Let me know what y'all think!

I agree. Can't do much better with that 3-9 Bushnell Trophy. That 1"inch square gets idi bidi. Well it does for this old man anyway.Originally Posted by GaCop

Put me down for: I think it looks great too ! With that camo the zombies will never know where it's coming from.
That is some real nice work there chaos23. I think the skull and bones is a nice touch.
Thanks for all the kind words! I'm glad others like it too and it's not just me, haha.
And Stangfish, good call on the Bushnell Trophy, my next priority is getting some better glass on it. When that happens, I may go crazy and paint the entire thing, but I'm not sure I have the stones for that just yet!
nice job on the stock. thumbs up
Nothing but a thang. Practice on a paper towel tube for the scope.Originally Posted by Chaos_23
+1. I've done a number of complete camo jobs w/o any problems. I mask off the magnification numbers, if a side focus, the range scale and both lenses and have at it.Originally Posted by stangfish
