243 wssm has some pictures up of targets he shot with a criterion barrel out of his 308. Very impressive because he's a friend of mine and I know he can't shoot (lol) so it has to be the barrel
Can I get some recent reviews of ER SHAW tubes with pics? I'd also like to see Criterion target pics and info .A buddy and I want to try them out, but are a little hesitant because when we usually skimp on price we find out we skimped on quality. He's wanting the .260 and I'm wanting the .264 WM. For my WM hunting rifle I'll be more than happy if a $158 barrel shoots smaller than .8 may 1 inch for that matter, but for his 260 he wants .3-.6s. We both are not the guys to try our standard few loads in a barrel and declare it crap, but sometimes there's no fixing things.
Thanks for the help.

My Criterion (CBI) barrel in 6BR is a definite shooter. The first group I shot out of it was a 5-shot group of .331" at 100yds.
I shot this during barrel break in, shots #21 thru 25 on the barrel. Never heard anyone speak of a bad experience with a CBI Barrel as of yet.
Can't speak for the Shaw barrels as I only have one and the caliber does not lend to much accuracy testing (458WM) but I have heard that MOA is not uncommon.
204, 22 K-Hornet, 222, 223, 22-250, 22-250AI, 6BR, 243, 243AI, 6-06, 6-WSM, 250-3000AI, 270, 7-08, 7RM, 30BR, 308, 30-06, 375 H&H, 444 Marlin, 450BM, 458WM
Here are a few Pics from my .308 CBI barrel.
Did'nt measure the groups but the white dots are a 1/2in. diameter.
5 shot group .392
Aim Small, Miss Small!!!!!
I have a Shaw on a 22" light weight (hunting rifle), bedded and freefloated. It will do .7" for 4 shots and the 5th will open it up a bit, but the 1st 3 or 4 are very good for a hunting rifle. It is a Mauser action, factory trigger, etc. B&C stock and has killed alot of deer. It likes the 140gr. Nos. bal tip w. 44.x gr. of Varget, Rem brass and Win Primers. I would imagine that a 26" Varm. Contour, good brass, good powder and match tips it would do better. I have a 260AI coming on the $158 deal myself as for the money I am pleased w/ my hunting rifle.
