At that price range you're at the top tier of barrel makers. You won't regret any barrel you purchase. Rock Creek, Broughton, Benchmark, Krieger, Bartlein, Hart, Obermeyer, you won't go wrong.
Going to use one of these barrels on a new build..I just cant make up my mind.! I need some opinions ?

I never had a Benchmark but I did have a Broughton in 7mm. Very good barrel.
I have a Benchmark and it shoots great but next barrel is gonna be a "cut" barrel instead of button rifled. I'm thinking my next one will be a Brux. Advantage to a Benchmark is you can order a prefit straight from them.
I have a Benchmarark now and my next one will be too.
Broughton canted land!!!
dropd57....Are you running a broughton Canted land Barrel ? How does it Shoot ?
This is my third Broughton Barrel. I have a AR10 with a Broughton on it that has a very high round count and still shoots sub moa and cleans up quick and easy. And prior I had a 6.5 x 55 built by SSS and that rifle had a 6.5 Broughton (non canted land) and that rifle and barrel shot lights out.Originally Posted by clambdin
To your question, yes I am running a canted land Broughton on my 6.5 Creedmore. So far the barrel and caliber is making me very happy.

Dropd57..Thank`s !
I have 2 Benchmark barrels. They both shoot great. Like Varget 7-08 said, at that price point they're all good barrels.
