http://s1112.photobucket.com/albums/...10-2011167.jpg Do I need a sear like this one? Anyone have one for sale?
I'm trying to get an aftermarket trigger for an old model 110, my serial # is 16072, all the trigger images I find have the spring wire across the side of the trigger but mine does not. I recently purchased a Rifle Basix trigger that said it works with all model 110's but my sear is very different. Can I purchase a new sear and use the aftermarket trigger? If so do you know who sells the sear by its self? If you know of a better option for me please let me know.
Thank you, OldSchool110

You will need a trigger bracket, sear, safety and sear return spring to get any current production trigger and after market triggers to work.

Is this a kit I can purchase or do you know a company familar with this conversion that could set me up with the parts needed? I called rifle basix and they thought maybe SSS might have something? I emailed them today, but can't find any literature stating anything will fit. Hopefully they have something.
Sharpshooter is SSS. You have a pre-67 trigger. You will have to swap all the parts he said to get your basix trigger to work. You can get all the parts from Brownells.
Here's a link to show you what you have.
