to change a 270 flatback to mag. cal all that is needed is new barrel mag bolt face mag box & follower did i miss some parts? thanks jww123

Nope. I'd take the opportunity to change the recoil lug while you have the barrel off but it's not required.

I`m doing something similar 25-06 to 7mm mag on a 110 action,will the bolt baffle need to changed as well?
I'm doing the same thing to the same type of rifle. All I need now is a barrel, HS gauges and mag follower. I opted for a whole new bolt from Midway. Good luck.
Nope, Front baffles are the same unless you are dealing with a 223 or 204. Rear Baffles are the same regardless of caliber, there is just a Flat and a Round to match whichever action you have.Originally Posted by SCRUBS
