Easy to get a stock at stockys or where ever.
Bought a old stock, new 116 SS 270 that has the flat back of the reciever, looking to possibly go 7 mag......are the actions/rifles hard to find an aftermarket stock for? Boyds, stockys, ???????? Thanks, rsbhunter
If you stand for nothing, Then you'll fall for anything!

Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
Should be standard long action spacing.
A new 270 with a flat back receiver?
This action should be an older 110 without accutrigger. One of my favorite actions, by the way.
You are correct, this is an old stock (inventory wise) new in the box non accutrigger.....sorry for the poor explanation......rsbhunter

Flat back points to a staggerfeed LA...and stocks seem to be fairly easy to find, depending on what you want.
I have a Boyd Ross FT on a flat-back 110 and it works great; if synthetic is more your speed, Bell & Carlson makes the Durmaxx, Medalist sporter, and Carbelite, for the staggerfeed long action.
You can make a centerfeed LA stock (like the laminates Stocky's sells) work with a staggerfeed LA, you just have to do some dremeling to the mag inlet and shim the L-clip channel and/or bed it.
