I have 2 boxes of them (200) left over from when I had my 7.62x39 and a 30BR.
They were great in the 7.62x39. Shot the best of all my loads. Killed a couple of deer
with them.

I will probably use them in 308 for target and use that load data to develop a reduced load
for the 308 diam Barnes 110 gr TSX. Later a 30-06 reduced load.

My Brother in law has a rotator cuff injury to his right shoulder and cant shoot his
very nice older Sako 308. That should work for him.

Also My father is 88 YO and he cant shoot either of his 30-06 rifles
or a 308.

I also dont mind using light barnes TSX bullets myself. I have a good load lineup
that will allow me to shoot either 110 TSX or vmax, 130 tipped TSX or 220 gr
prohunters out of my 308 with the same scope settings with a Leupold LR retical.

That said I used a 6.8 spc for a while and my dad still has one.
The 270 110 gr and 85 gr barnes TSX are wicked medicine for deer and hogs so the
308 110 grain TSX shoudl do fine too.

I will probably try a couple of hog head shots with the 110 gr vmax when I get it dialed in.

I have some test loads set up to take to the range next week.
