Nice! Looking good so far.
I decided to copy another guys doings and sand off the hideous wings of the B&C tactical stock. it was very easy to do. The hardest part was the getting the nerve to take the grind/sander to it..
I first taped it off.. Use a few layers of tape above the wings.

Here it is, with more sanding to go.

Here it is pretty much sanded flat. The "foam" on the inside, must be some kind of epoxy/resin foam, because it is HARD as a rock. I didnt feel that I removed any strength by sanding away the fiberglass shell in this area, so I just mixed up some JB-weld and Spackled it on and gave it some texture.

That would make the forearm similar to a Mcmillan A-3 I think.

I'm VERY interested in seeing the finished product.

Thanks for the complemints guys. I might just paint the epoxy areas black for now but i'd like to eventually do a three color camo sceme.
Anyone know of a good rattle can type paint that will resist cleaning solvents?

I just filled some pin-holes in the forearm with some more JB. I will probably give it a quick coat of black tomorow.

I am still recovering from the surgery but I will paint the stock and mount the scope soon.
