I bought a mk2 in hm2, and should be recieving it soon. Looking at bases, I can get the DIP in 0 MOA, or 25 MOA for $3 more. Since most scopes are in the 60+ MOA range, and I plan to sight in at 25/100 yards, should I get the 25 moa base or not? I would like to see how far the cartridge will accurately shoot.

yes. you may not need it at the yardage you posted, but will when you start going out further. and if you don't it's nice to know you could for 3.00 more.

I got a comment on RFC that the bullet will be out of speed and drifting horribly by the time I run out of scope adjustments. I guess I need to look for a windage chart for the hm2. THoughts on the drift comment?
