It's not too difficult, do a search on the best way to remove the magazine. The new stock will probably have more space for the magazine, you will have to create a small spacer in the front of the factory magazine. pm me if you want pictures.
I bought a Stevens 200 for my son and decided to by a Boyds aftermarket stock. The holes line up but the magazine in the original stock is locked into the stock..Any suggestion on how to incorporate the magazine into the new stock to line up with the receiver. Thanks

Is it a Stevens 200 Long Action? I'm finding several posts from others with the same problem. Stockage seems to be the only stock that can be ordered for drop-in on the Stevens 200 LA. Does anyone have any pictures of modfications to the B&C, Boyds or other stocks to fit the centerfeed magazine from the Stevens 200?
I'm in the same boat with a Stevens 200 CF LA in 270.

I'm thinking about picking up a Heritage classic from StockyStocks.com for a new Stevens 200 in .270. I contacted them and they said that it will fit the new centerfeed long actions.

Any thoughts?
I've used one Stocky Stock for a build. It didn't come pillar bedded so I ordered pillars from Brownell's and installed them before I glass bedded.
