Like Eric said, if you know going in that it will need some work to fit and finish, you won't be surprised. They "have" gotten better over the years.
Ordered up and got one that took 4 months. There was a mistake so I mentioned it to them and got a replacement in 4 weeks. Didn't think it would happen in that short of time but they came through right on time.
The inlet now is about 99%. Much better then some of their earlier stocks.
My last one made #6 (I think) so I've seen them getting better over the years. As far as ready to finish, that's also much better. The price and style selection keeps me coming back. And my most recent one won't be my last.
