I pulled the two triggers apart and tried it myself. So far, the only thing that seams to be stopping me is the hole circled in red. Other that that everything seams to work.

Here's my predicament. I have a new savage target action and a Stevens 200. Is it possible to swap the triggers? I plan on eventually getting a SSS trigger for my target action. i think if it would work, my accu-trigger would be perfect for me on my Stevens. I've searched on here and didn't find an answer. Also googled the S*** out of it and cant get a straight answer.

Also need to drill the hole in the receiver for the trigger spring.

Thanks for letting me know.

I had looked into this six to eight months ago. Didn't use all possible variations of actions but the Savage actions did use it wasn't possible without machining the receiver. Not a problem for me but the average member doesn't have the shop equipment I do. Decided it was more hassle than worth so instead have bought SSS competition triggers for those needing lighter triggers. My investigation consisted of pulling the actions with both types of triggers and visually comparing especially the action trigger attachment area. I didn't specifically remove the assemblies and attempt installation on different actions.
