    FOUND 99 Scope base screw size


    What size is the screws that hold the scope base on a 1956 Savage 99? Looking for some plugs after removing the scope base.

    Found some at a local gunsmith, still not sure of size, but they fit.

    Either 6x48 or 8x40.
