I like heavy barrels. I recently switched from a 26” Shilen in Varmint profile(.810 @ the muzzle), to a 28” Criterion in MTU profile(920” @ the muzzle). But then, I’m not lugging this sub 17lb. rifle around hunting! This is strictly a bench rest Rig.
