I like Starline brass a lot.
I got a few hundred of the Dogtown 223 from Midway and worked some of that for 223 and 25-45 Sharps. Seems to be pretty nice stuff, as well.
Primed 300 new Starline .223 cases this morning before sunrise. Sure like working with this stuff. Whatta Hobby!

When Lapua started getting hard to find I bought Starline. I think it is just as good and a halibut cheaper. Whatta Hobby!

Got out in the rain this morning for a final test of my load for Starline .223 brass. 73 gn Berger bullet over 23 gn of Varget set off with BR-4 primers. Decided that this really needs a dozen shots to settle down in a clean barrel. First 4 shots started out just under an inch to the left and as things warmed up they moved right into the X.
Now, with the rain I can go down into the shop and load the 250 new cases that I have primed. Whatta Hobby!

Nice.
Sometimes I miss my .223 :)
I don't miss the semi-auto .223s at all. Never liked the sooty mess in the receiver. Now, with the Uintah bolt action upper, I am enjoying my AR again. Whatta Hobby!

I was told by Nosler in an email that they make Midway's "Dogtown" brass. I"ve loaded "Dogtown" brass in 204 Ruger, 223 and 22 Nosler and have been very pleased w/ it. I have found it to be very concentric.I got a few hundred of the Dogtown 223 from Midway and worked some of that for 223 and 25-45 Sharps. Seems to be pretty nice stuff, as well.
Good luck and good hunting.
I went to Lapua when I had trouble with case life of some of the brands of .223 cases. One batch I had went 25 reloads before I took that barrel off my Axis.
Dogtown in 22 Nosler still gets beat to crap!
"An armed society is a polite society"
"...shall not be infringed" What's the confusion?
Sorry to hear that.
I'm still shooting 22 Nosler.
Gas cut way down, loaded LONG, and Nosler and Dogtown brass does well.
Started the wife off with Nosler 'Premium' brass in a Savage bolt gun.
She's still getting used to it but easily under an MOA @ 300yds.
Going to 600 Saturday for an F-Class match.
----Missed the match due to weather.
Loaded up a hundred 22N, 85.5, SB6.5 for the wife's Savage.
Now to do mine.
A while back I shot in the rain. 100yds, 1 inch dots.
