Thanks Ed for sharing your test results. Looks like SK FN should be safe to fire in my Ruger Charger with a Firefly bolt.
Did you do any accuracy testing?
Hi - I did this test last Summer and I dont think I ever posted it here. Several brands thru my B22-FV on a couple warm days, only 10 or 20 rounds per flavour with just a dry patch between brands. Light breeze directly in my face both days. It looks like the CCI types shot as good an ES as the 'better' SK+ &SK-FNose. And the accuracy of the ammo is reflected in the lower ES. Thru the summer I got a CZ455 as well and with both that and the B22-FV I found the SK-FN and SK-RM to be the most accurate. I haven't bought any more costly than those @ ca $15/box tax inc. As for lower cost ammo, I have some of the 'old' Fed Champion 40g RNL (Not the 'new' Champion 36g HV-HP) to be very accurate for $3-4/box. Considering the ES of Fed-Ch I was surprised with its consistency.
