Nice stock! Go with the Rifle Basix Sav-2. I have several and they are great. I just put a "SAV-1" on a rifle recently adjusts down to 1 1/2 and after I got it finetuned it is nice- and cheaper that the SAV-2
Manners T2 - Desert Sand inletted originally for a VLP, lately once joining Savage Shooters i've discovered i can put a Stevens 200 centre feed in the stock instead, which ill switch out the barrel for a Shilen 6mm BR, if I don't like the trigger, probably go with a Timney or Rifle Basix and top her off with a Sightron SIII or Nightforce NXS
Enjoy!
Plenty of protection

May I please ask why you chose the non adjustable T2 instead of the T2A?

And scroll down to the T2A on the MANNERS Company site:

well you see how the rear pillar hole is cut out in the back, the pillar has to match that or the trigger wont fit(accutrigger) in there that is why its cut out i thought, have you put the pilllars in and tried yet, they make pillars just for savage that are cut out stocky stock has them i just put them in a stock i bought from them.
I was originally going to go with a VLP which has the Accutrigger, hopefully a centre-feed Stevens should fit.
If i have to re-inlet it, I'll just inlet for a CDI or similar whilst im their
No matter which way i do it, even if i have to re-inlet a Stevens, it will still be cheaper than the VLP.
dangaff,
Thanks for your honesty. I am thinking of saving for the adjustable and I
wanted to make sure that you did not know of something wrong with it. :)
