Frank, Please chime in........
I m copying this from a post Mark made on another forum. I thought it would be noteworthy. I believe they purchased Proof recently.
"Bartlein Barrels is proud to introduce their new line of Carbon Fiber wrapped barrels.
We will start off with 3 contours, the #4 Bull Sporter, #13 Rem Varmint, and the #14 M24/M40.
Lengths will be 20", 22", 24" and 26" finished lengths in any twist you like including Gain and Left Hand twists.
And just to make it a little more interesting--4 Colors, Black, Red, Green, and White(black marble).

Shooter, I'm not sure about any information on pricing. This announcement is about three maybe four days old. I don't know who Proofs barrel source was/ is.
My post was about Bartlein now providing carbon fiber wrapped barrels to the public. I had heard that Bartlein had purchased Proof. This I cannot prove. Your link may even be current as there is no indication at this date on Bartlein's web site that they are selling CF barrel.

The price on Carbon Wrapped barrels has been 700 and up as far as I know.

Proof barrels have never been cheap. There's a lot of added labor
to get them to where they need to be. It was average to see a
$900 price tag.
Would love to do a Broughton 32" full bull and fitted in such a way
that you can't tell where the barrel is shouldered.
Keeping my bad Karma intact since 1952
Sure wish they would start getting mass produced so the price would come down
Is Frank still working through this? Have not seen him post in a while.
