SMALL finishing nail with the point filed/ground off.
Looks like my punch set doesn't go down to whatever size I need to remove the ejector on my bolt (110 Ashbury in 6.5 CM). Does anyone know what size punch is needed for this? thx

Oz never gave nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn't already have.
Try the 1/16th" Make sure he end is not mushroomed. Make sure you are on center of the pin. It doesn't take much force so the smallest hammer you have with very light tapping. Push it in the direction of the spot face on the side of the bolt.

You'll need a 1/16" pin punch, or a nail, drill bit, what ever.
Be sure to compress the ejector before driving the pin out, otherwise you may bend the pin, jamming it in the bolt head. I use an empty cartridge case snapped under the extractor to do this. Hold it straight with a finger while you drive out the pin. Go easy!
When replacing, be aware of the position of the machined flat on the ejector pin. Get it wrong and again, you've got trouble.

this was covered in great depth this last few days and the thread is still here on page one of this forum.
